Walk The Ride.
To make sure the ride is right for your horse, we recommend you walk the circuit first.
You are welcome to walk any day between 8am and 5pm. No booking is needed ( just turn up, park near the buildings to the left and walk) and takes around 1 hour.
Please keep to the route. NB no dogs are allowed at any time on site.
Livestock.
The ride is on a dairy farm. Mostly the cows will be fenced off well away from ride but sometimes they will graze beside a small section of the ride.
There's always a rope fence between the cows & the riders but they are inquisitive animals & might come over to the fence line where you are riding.
If your horse is not good with livestock, we suggest you don't book the ride for now.
Later ( after November 2025) we can advise if the cows stay away from the ride or if they are still curious..
